About the Role
Teach Now is looking for an Early Years Teacher with a strong understanding of inclusive practice to join a supportive primary school in Enfield.
The Reception provision has a strong focus on developing communication, independence and emotional readiness for school. The successful teacher will work with children with a wide range of starting points, including pupils who may require additional support with speech and language, communication or social development.
You will have classroom support and work closely with the school’s SENCO and Early Years staff to ensure every child can access the curriculum.
The Role Will Include
Creating an engaging and accessible Reception environment.
Planning from children’s interests while meeting curriculum expectations.
Delivering high-quality early phonics and literacy teaching.
Monitoring children’s progress through meaningful observation.
Supporting pupils with SEND and adapting provision appropriately.
Building strong relationships with families.
Working closely with support staff and external professionals where necessary.
We’re Looking For
QTS and relevant EYFS experience.
Strong EYFS curriculum knowledge.
An inclusive and nurturing teaching approach.
Good knowledge of early language and communication development.
Confidence working with pupils with additional needs.
Excellent safeguarding awareness.
