How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

A leading multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their London team, delivering an exciting portfolio of commercial and residential projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who wants to take ownership of high-quality schemes while working with an established client base and experienced project teams.

The successful Senior Project Manager will lead projects through the full development lifecycle, working across both commercial and residential sectors. As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage clients, consultants and contractors while maintaining control of programme, risk, quality and project objectives. The consultancy is looking for a confident Senior Project Manager who can operate independently, provide trusted advice to clients and successfully lead multidisciplinary teams. This position offers a Senior Project Manager a varied workload rather than being restricted to a single sector.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

    The Senior Project Manager's role

The Senior Project Manager will take responsibility for projects from initial brief and feasibility through design, procurement, construction and completion.

Working across commercial and residential developments, responsibilities will include preparing project strategies and programmes, leading consultant teams, chairing meetings, managing procurement, monitoring risks and overseeing contractor performance.

The Senior Project Manager will act as a key point of contact for clients, providing clear advice and reporting while ensuring projects remain focused on agreed time, cost and quality objectives.

    The Senior Project Manager

The successful Senior Project Manager will ideally have:

Strong Project Management experience within a construction consultancy
Experience delivering commercial and/or residential construction projects
Proven ability to manage projects through the full project lifecycle
Experience leading multidisciplinary consultants and contractors
A relevant degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or a related discipline
MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or another relevant professional qualification, or demonstrable progress towards chartership
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Good knowledge of procurement, programme management and project risk
The ability to independently lead multiple projects

    In Return?

    £70,000 - £78,000
High-quality commercial and residential project exposure
    Established and varied client portfolio
    Professional development and chartership support
Opportunity to take ownership of significant projects
Clear opportunities for further career progression
