Registered Service Managers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams.
We're looking for an experienced and ambitious Registered Service Manager to lead one of our established residential services in Medway. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong people leader who is ready to bring fresh ideas, drive continuous improvement and make a lasting impact.
The service supports adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Needs and benefits from a dedicated and established team, stable occupancy and strong staffing levels. About the Role
As Registered Service Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care, quality and compliance are maintained.
Working closely with local authorities, healthcare professionals, families and your regional leadership team, you'll focus on delivering excellent person-centred support whilst inspiring your team to be the very best they can be.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading, motivating and developing a dedicated staff team
Driving a culture of accountability, quality and continuous improvement
Ensuring regulatory, legislative and contractual requirements are met
Managing service performance, compliance and quality assurance processes
Completing audits, reports and action plans
Overseeing recruitment, induction and colleague development
Supporting positive outcomes and greater independence for the people we support
Managing budgets and service performance
Preparing the service for future CQC inspections
Supporting planned growth and development opportunities within the serviceWhat We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Care Manager ready to step up
Residential care management experience
Experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities and Autism
Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills
Knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards
Ability to drive service improvement and performance
Excellent communication and organisational skills
