A leading waste management and environmental services business is looking for a Site Chemist to join its team in Middlesbrough.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in Chemistry, waste management, laboratory work or a related field to develop their career within the environmental sector.
The Role
Sampling and testing incoming waste
Identifying and classifying waste materials
Ensuring waste is handled, stored and processed safely
Completing waste documentation and maintaining accurate records
Supporting site operations and ensuring compliance with environmental legislation
Working closely with colleagues, customers and waste producers
About You
Chemistry qualification or relevant experience preferred
Experience within waste, chemicals, laboratory or an industrial environment would be advantageous
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong health, safety and environmental awareness
Practical, reliable and willing to work in a busy site environment
