We’re recruiting for an experienced Mobile Fabric Engineer / Joiner to join an established Facilities Management business, covering commercial sites across the West of Scotland.
This is a varied role that would suit a time-served Joiner who enjoys working across different environments and is happy to turn their hand to wider general maintenance and fabric tasks.
You'll have joinery as your core trade, but this isn't a role where you'll be limited to joinery work. We're looking for someone with a flexible, hands-on approach who is comfortable supporting the wider FM team wherever required.
The Role
* Planned and reactive fabric maintenance.
* Joinery repairs and maintenance.
* Repairs to doors, locks, handles, fixtures and fittings.
* Minor building fabric repairs.
* Painting and decorating.
* General handyman and maintenance duties.
* Basic patch repairs and making good.
* Supporting other trades and engineers when required.
* Identifying defects and reporting additional works.
* Completing job sheets and maintenance records.
* Liaising directly with clients and site teams.
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
What We're Looking For
Time-served Joinery experience is essential.
We're looking for someone who:
* Is a qualified / time-served Joiner.
* Has experience within commercial properties, FM, maintenance or a similar environment.
* Is happy carrying out general FM and fabric duties alongside joinery.
* Is comfortable completing painting and decorating when required.
* Has a good all-round practical skill set.
* Is confident working independently across multiple sites.
* Is professional and comfortable dealing directly with clients.
* Holds a full UK Driving Licence.
