How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

You'll get involved in the full product journey, from understanding what customers need and helping define new features, through to supporting delivery and seeing your ideas come to life.
If you're looking for a role where you can continue building the foundations for a long-term career in Product, we'd love to hear from you!
Please note: To complete your application, you will be redirected to Wilmington plc’s career site.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    * Partner with business stakeholders and developers to translate requirements into high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
    * Capture needs from colleagues, the business and clients to shape product and feature enhancements.
    * Act as a day-to-day point of contact for the development team, providing clarity on requirements and supporting delivery throughout the sprint cycle.
    * Support quality assurance and user-acceptance testing, working closely with the technical team ahead of each release.
    * Engage with clients to gather feedback and understand how our products are used in the market.
    * Communicate progress and product updates back to the business.

The learning curve can be steep at times, both in terms of building knowledge and taking ownership of your work.
You'll often be balancing different priorities, working with a range of stakeholders and turning complex requirements into something clear and actionable for the development team.
To be successful in this role, you must have/ be:
    * Experience in a Product, Business Analysis or Delivery role within a software or web-based product team.
    * Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including backlog management and user story creation.
    * Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    * Highly organised, with excellent planning, prioritisation and time-management skills.
    * Enthusiasm to develop Product Owner expertise.
To be successful in this role, it would be great if you have:
    * Experience within the insurance sector.
    * Familiarity with Agile product delivery tools, such as Jira.
    * Experience using Power BI.
    * Exposure to digital, data-led or information-based products and services.
