We're working with a well-established and highly reputable business in Doncaster that is looking to appoint an Assembly & Testing Technician to join its team.
This is an interesting opportunity to work with specialist control units and radio control systems, carrying out assembly, testing, repairs and fault finding across a range of electromechanical products.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
The Role
As an Assembly & Testing Technician, you will be responsible for:
* Assembling electromechanical control units and systems
* Testing completed units to ensure they meet the required standards
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
* Fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems
* Using wiring diagrams, schematics and technical documentation
* Identifying issues and supporting the resolution of technical problems
* Carrying out routine inspection and testing
* Ensuring work is completed accurately and to a high standard
What We're Looking For
We're not looking for someone who can work down to component level across complex electrical systems.
Instead, we're looking for someone with a solid baseline understanding of electrical components and systems, combined with good practical and mechanical ability.
You could be an experienced Assembly Technician, Electrical Technician, Electromechanical Technician, Test Technician or similar, ideally with experience working with control systems, wiring, electronics or machinery.
Most importantly, you'll be someone who is hands-on, technically minded and confident troubleshooting problems.
