How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

We're recruiting a Sales Team Leader on behalf of a well-established, growing business based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, offering a salary of £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience — and a genuine opportunity to make your mark leading a B2B sales team in a business that values people, performance and doing things the right way.

Reporting to the Head of Business, you'll provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and development to a team of Sales Executives, driving performance across sales targets, quality standards and customer experience. This is a people-first leadership role — if you're motivated by helping others be great, building a strong team culture and turning consistent sales activity into commercial growth, this could be an excellent fit. The role is fully office-based in St Ives, five days per week.

    Main Responsibilities:

    * Providing day-to-day leadership, coaching and support to a team of B2B Sales Executives

    * Holding regular one-to-ones, development conversations and performance reviews to build capability and confidence

    * Delivering clear, constructive feedback that helps team members understand strengths, close skill gaps and grow

    * Driving team performance across sales targets, quality KPIs and customer experience metrics

    * Using data and insight to identify trends, risks and opportunities, taking proactive steps to improve outcomes

    * Embedding quality standards and ensuring consistency across every customer interaction

    * Supporting all new sales training including induction, ongoing development and refresher sessions

    * Identifying individual development needs and creating effective training to address them

    * Managing sales agent pipelines and supporting outreach and nurturing tactics

    * Working collaboratively with wider teams to resolve issues and improve end-to-end processes

    * Championing a culture of accountability, fairness and continuous improvement

    Skills/Experience:

    * Proven experience leading or supervising teams, ideally within a B2B telephony or telesales environment

    * Strong track record of delivering performance across sales, service and quality KPIs

    * Demonstrated ability to coach, develop and performance manage individuals with clarity and empathy

    * Excellent communication, influencing and decision-making skills

    * Calm under pressure with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands effectively

    * Collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to challenge assumptions

    * Proactive and resilient with a flexible approach to change

    Salary & Working Hours:

£30,000–£35,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Full-time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday — no weekends. Fully office-based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

Please note: a basic DBS check will be required prior to starting employment
