How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Our client, a well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation, is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join its dynamic team. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a quality-focused professional to contribute significantly to maintaining product standards, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of operational excellence across the manufacturing operations.

    The Role:

    As a Quality Engineer, you will take on a pivotal role in supporting quality assurance activities throughout the manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include:

    Investigating quality concerns and leading root cause analysis activities.
    Spearheading corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) to mitigate quality issues.
    Monitoring quality performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
    Conducting internal audits of processes and products.
    Collaborating with customers and suppliers on quality activities.
    Reviewing and enhancing manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and reduce non-conformances.
    Assisting in the preparation of quality documentation, procedures, and control plans.
    Supporting first-off inspections, process validations, and quality checks.
    Working closely with production teams to resolve quality-related challenges.
    Promoting continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
    Investigating customer complaints and implementing corrective actions.
    Ensuring adherence to relevant quality standards and company procedures.About You:

    To thrive in this role, candidates should ideally possess:

    Previous experience as a Quality Engineer, Quality Specialist, or in a Manufacturing Quality role.
    A background in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
    Strong knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies, such as 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone.
    Familiarity with quality management systems and auditing processes.
    Proficiency in using quality tools and continuous improvement techniques.
    The ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality reporting systems.Working Hours:

    Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
    Friday: Half-day FridayBenefits:
