How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Domestic Air Conditioning Installation Engineer

    Location: Worcester / West Midlands
    Salary: £40,000 – £46,000 DOE
    Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
    Package: Company Van + Fuel Card + Overtime + Benefits

    We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established air conditioning and ventilation specialist that is continuing to expand its domestic air conditioning division.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Domestic Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join a growing team, working predominantly across Worcestershire and the wider Midlands.

    The successful candidate will be confident working independently within customers' homes and capable of managing installations from initial installation through to commissioning and customer handover.

    The Role

    Your responsibilities will include:

    * Installing domestic air conditioning systems

    * Installing single-split and multi-split systems

    * Installation of indoor and outdoor units

    * Installing refrigerant pipework and condensate drainage

    * Pressure testing and vacuuming systems

    * Commissioning and testing completed installations

    * Carrying out system checks and fault finding where required

    * Completing installations neatly and professionally within occupied properties

    * Explaining system operation to customers following installation

    * Completing installation and commissioning documentation

    * Maintaining a professional approach when working in customers' homes

    About You

    The ideal candidate will have:

    * Previous experience installing air conditioning systems

    * F-Gas Category 1 qualification

    * Experience working with split and multi-split systems

    * Strong knowledge of AC installation and commissioning

    * Good basic electrical knowledge

    * The ability to work independently and resolve problems on site

    * Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship

    * Good communication and customer service skills

    * A full UK driving licence

    Experience working with Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Toshiba or Panasonic systems would be highly advantageous.

    Domestic/residential experience is preferred; however, experienced commercial AC engineers looking to move into predominantly domestic installation will also be considered.
