Destination Education is currently working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Redbridge and the surrounding areas, and we are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Primary School Teachers to join our network.
Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for greater flexibility, an ECT looking to build confidence in the classroom, or a teacher considering a return to education, supply can offer the perfect balance. You can choose the type of work that suits you while continuing to make a real difference to pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
Supply teaching can also be a fantastic route into a full-time position. By getting to know different schools, you may find a setting that feels like the right fit and could lead to a longer-term or permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
Follow lesson plans and school policies effectively.
Build positive relationships with pupils and maintain their engagement throughout the day.
Manage behaviour confidently and consistently.
Adapt quickly to different schools, year groups, and classroom environments.
Provide clear feedback to school staff following each placement.The Ideal Candidate
Holds QTS or equivalent.
Has recent experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Is reliable, adaptable, and confident working across different year groups.
Has a positive attitude and a genuine passion for teaching.
