How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Reconciliations Analyst

    Location: Lloyds Banking Group, 110 St Vincent Street, Glasgow

    Hybrid Working: 2 days per week in the office following successful completion of training

    Hourly Pay Rate: £14.40

    Contract: 6-Month Temporary Assignment with potential for progression

    Working Hours: Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 6:00pm (35 hours per week)

    Training: First 8 weeks fully office-based (may be extended depending on business requirements)

If you have a background in finance administration, banking operations, reconciliations, payments, or high-volume processing and enjoy investigating issues, working with data, and delivering accurate results, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    Working within a fast-paced operational team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring payment and account reconciliation activities are completed accurately and efficiently.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    Reconciling payment accounts and financial transactions.
    Investigating missing, unmatched, or incorrect payments.
    Identifying and resolving discrepancies through detailed analysis.
    Working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
    Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
    Managing high volumes of work while meeting service level agreements and deadlines.
    Escalating risks, recurring issues, and opportunities for process improvement.

    What We're Looking For:

    Audit or financial control environments
    High-volume administrative or operational rolesWe would also love to hear from candidates with transferable experience from finance, auditing, or data-driven administration roles.
