How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

A highly regarded construction consultancy in London is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong commercial property background to join their growing team. The successful Senior Project Manager will take a leading role on high-quality commercial projects across the capital, with the opportunity to gain exposure to residential schemes as well if this is of interest. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager looking to join a respected consultancy with a strong project pipeline and varied workload.

The Senior Project Manager will work closely with major clients, consultants and contractors, taking responsibility for projects from early feasibility through to completion. This role would suit a confident Senior Project Manager with strong commercial experience who enjoys leading teams, managing client relationships and delivering complex schemes. The successful Senior Project Manager will also have the opportunity to broaden their sector experience through selected residential projects.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

    The Senior Project Manager's role

The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of commercial projects across multiple RIBA stages, managing programme, risk, procurement, cost and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities will include chairing project meetings, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, monitoring design development, overseeing procurement and contract strategy, managing change and reporting directly to clients.

The Senior Project Manager will also support junior members of the team and contribute to client development, while maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

    The Senior Project Manager

The successful Senior Project Manager will ideally have:

Significant Project Management experience within a UK construction consultancy
Strong commercial office, refurbishment, fit-out or development experience
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB qualification, or progress towards a relevant professional qualification
Experience delivering projects through multiple RIBA stages
Good knowledge of procurement routes and construction contracts
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
    Experience leading multidisciplinary consultant teams
An interest in residential project exposure would be advantageous but is not essential

    In Return?

    £70,000-£78,000
    Pension and additional company benefits
    Professional membership support
    Clear career progression opportunities
    Exposure to high-profile commercial projects
Opportunity to gain residential sector experience
Supportive and established senior management team
