How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Project Engineer – Civils | Data Centre | Enfield

    Location: Enfield, London

    We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer to join a major data centre project in Enfield, supporting the delivery of the civils package on a large-scale, high-value development.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer with a strong civil engineering background who is confident working with site teams, subcontractors, designers and the wider project team to ensure works are delivered safely, accurately and in line with programme.

    The Role

    As Project Engineer, you will provide technical and engineering support throughout the delivery of the civils works, coordinating drawings, specifications, inspections and technical queries while working closely with the site management team.

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide technical and engineering support across the civils package

    Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications

    Coordinate with designers, consultants, subcontractors and site teams

    Manage technical queries and ensure issues are resolved efficiently

    Assist with the preparation and review of RAMS

    Monitor works to ensure they are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications

    Carry out inspections and maintain accurate site records

    Assist with setting out and surveying where required

    Manage RFIs, technical submissions and documentation

    Monitor progress and provide technical input into project programmes

    Support the Site and Project Management teams with technical issues

    Ensure works comply with quality, health & safety and environmental requirements

    Assist with the handover and completion of the project

    About You

    The successful candidate will have:

    Proven experience as a Project Engineer within civil engineering

    Strong experience working on major civils or infrastructure projects

    Experience with groundworks, reinforced concrete, drainage, utilities or associated civils

    Experience working on data centre, industrial, commercial or similarly complex schemes would be highly advantageous

    Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications

    Experience managing RFIs, technical queries and quality documentation

    Good knowledge of construction methods and site procedures

    Strong communication and organisational skills

    Relevant civil engineering qualification or equivalent experience

    CSCS and relevant site qualifications
