We are currently working with a well-established client who is looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer based in Yorkshire or the surrounding areas, with responsibility for servicing, maintaining, installing and commissioning fire and security systems across the Yorkshire & Manchester areas.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, small works, installation, commissioning and reactive call-outs on a range of fire and security systems at commercial and client sites throughout the region.
The role will involve:
* Servicing and maintaining fire alarm and security systems
* Carrying out small works and system modifications
* Installing new fire and security systems
* Commissioning and testing newly installed systems
* Diagnosing and resolving faults
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works
* Attending customer call-outs when required
* Completing service reports and relevant documentation
* Providing a professional and customer-focused service
* Travelling as required
The Package
* Basic salary up to £40,000

About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Fire & Security Engineer and be confident working independently across customer sites.
You should have:
* Previous experience within the fire and/or security industry
* Experience with servicing, maintenance, small works, installation and commissioning
* Strong fault-finding and technical skills
* A professional approach and good customer service skills
* The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
* A full UK driving licence
* Relevant industry qualifications or experience would be advantageous
