How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Love being in the classroom but not the never-ending workload?

A fantastic opportunity is available for Primary Teachers looking to take on daily supply work across Redbridge from September 2026.

This could be the perfect fit if you're keen to keep your teaching career moving while having more say over your working pattern. Rather than committing to one class, you'll have the opportunity to step into different schools and year groups, bringing your experience and enthusiasm wherever you're needed.

With minimal planning involved, daily supply allows you to spend more time doing the part of teaching that matters most - working with pupils and creating engaging learning experiences.

Daily supply can be much more than simply covering a classroom for the day. It's an opportunity to see how different schools operate, discover new teaching environments and grow your professional experience.

If you're a recent graduate, you can use supply to build your confidence and find out what kind of teaching environment suits you. If you're an experienced teacher, you can enjoy the classroom without taking on the full workload of a permanent position.

If that sounds like the kind of flexibility you're looking for, we'd love to have a chat. Apply today and discover the daily supply opportunities available across Redbridge from September.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
