We are currently recruiting for experienced Painters & Decorators to carry out maintenance and refurbishment works across schools in Sunderland and Gateshead.
This is initially a minimum 6-week contract, with the potential for ongoing work for the right candidates.
Duties
Internal and external painting and decorating
Preparation of surfaces
Filling, sanding and priming
Applying paint to walls, ceilings, doors and other areas
General maintenance and redecoration works
Working around an operational school environment
Maintaining a clean and safe working area
Requirements
CSCS card - essential
Previous commercial or school painting experience
Clean criminal record - essential
Own tools
Own transport
Manual Handling
Working at Heights
Asbestos Awareness
Reliable and professional approach
