Night Shift Engineering Supervisor
Salary: £55,000–£57,000 per annum
Monday to Friday 10pm till 6am and overtime if required (night shifts)
We are looking for an experienced Night Shift Engineering Supervisor to join our food production operation. Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some weekend work as required, you will be responsible for leading the engineering team and supporting the wider factory throughout the night shift.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical engineering background within food manufacturing, with proven experience supervising people, managing performance and delivering effective training.
Key responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the night engineering team across the full factory.

Manage people, performance, training and development.
*
Ensure machinery and equipment are maintained safely and efficiently.
*
Respond to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
*
Work closely with production and other departments to ensure smooth factory operations.
*
Maintain high standards of health & safety, engineering compliance and food manufacturing standards.
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in both mechanical and electrical engineering, confident managing and developing a team, and able to take ownership of engineering operations across a busy food production environment.
