About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain focused and complete the work provided by their teachers. You will manage classroom behaviour, support pupils with their learning and help maintain a calm and purposeful environment throughout the school day.

Responsibilities:
Supervise classes across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher.
Deliver and explain work provided by teaching staff where appropriate.
Maintain positive behaviour and classroom expectations.
Support students with their learning and encourage active participation.
Respond confidently to classroom situations and follow school behaviour policies.
Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and behaviour.
Ensure classrooms remain safe, orderly and conducive to learning.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A confident, calm and adaptable approach.
Ability to supervise groups of students independently.
Good organisational skills and reliability.
A genuine interest in supporting students' education and development.
