How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Tooling & Fixture Design Engineer (Composites Manufacturing)
Eynsham, Oxfordshire | Aerospace & Motorsport
    About Us
We are a long-established specialist manufacturer supplying high-performance components to the aerospace and motorsport sectors. Our success is built on proprietary technology, engineering expertise and the agility to develop innovative solutions for demanding customers. Based at our headquarters in Eynsham, Oxfordshire, we offer the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects where your contribution has a visible impact.
    Why Join Us?
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to broaden their experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. Rather than becoming one small part of a lengthy programme, you’ll take ownership of projects from concept through to production, working across aerospace, defence, automotive and motorsport applications.
    The Role
We are looking for an NPI / Mould Tooling Design Engineer to bridge the gap between product design and manufacturing. While the position sits within New Product Introduction (NPI), the primary focus is the design and development of composite mould tooling and workholding solutions for composite manufacturing, together with supporting new products through industrialisation phases (eg testing, documentation, gateway readiness) into production.
You’ll work closely with design, manufacturing and customers to ensure products are designed for efficient manufacture while taking ownership of small projects through to successful delivery.
    Key responsibilities include:
    * Designing tooling, moulds, fixtures and workholding solutions using Siemens NX CAD.
    * Supporting Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) activities.
    * Managing customer approval and sign-off gateways throughout NPI.
    * Completing PFMEAs and supporting manufacturing documentation and process development.
    * Working with Manufacturing Engineering to optimise production methods and tooling solutions.
    About You
We’re looking for an engineer with experience designing tooling, fixtures or workholding, ideally within a composites manufacturing environment. Experience of designing composite parts is less important than understanding how composite components are manufactured and how tooling influences quality, repeatability and production efficiency.
    You should also have:
    * Strong CAD skills, ideally Siemens NX.
    * A good understanding of modern manufacturing techniques and engineering processes.
    * Experience taking engineering projects from concept through to successful delivery, rather than solely carrying out CAD design.
    * The ability to work collaboratively with design, manufacturing and customers to solve practical engineering challenges.
If you’re looking for a role where you can take ownership, broaden your technical experience and see the direct results of your work, we’d love to hear from you
