How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Electrician – North Wales

    Salary: £32k - £36k

    A well-established and growing electrical and technical services provider is seeking a qualified Electrician to join its expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments, within a business that places strong emphasis on quality, safety, and continuous development.

    The Role

    The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical works, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations.

    Key duties include:

    Completing electrical installations, servicing, and remedial works in accordance with industry standards
    Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
    Interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
    Ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and within agreed timeframes
    Maintaining a professional approach on site and delivering a high level of customer service
    Requirements

    NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
    18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
    ECS or CSCS card (essential)
    Full UK driving licence
    Testing & Inspection qualification (2391)
    Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
    Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team
