How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

If you have a strong background in HSE management within manufacturing or FMCG, this role offers the chance to make a real impact across both site and group operations.
    Key Responsibilities:
    *
Lead and promote a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across the site.
    *
Advise the General Manager and site leadership on compliance standards and HSE performance
    *
Lead site audits, inspections, and risk assessments, implementing corrective and preventive measures as needed
    *
Manage incident investigations, maintain accident records, and ensure statutory reporting is completed on time
    *
Oversee fire safety compliance, including risk assessments, drills, and statutory documentation
    *
Coordinate environmental compliance activities, including waste management, EPR permits, and sustainability reporting
    *
Liaise with regulatory bodies such as the Environment Agency, insurers, and enforcement authorities
    *
Support training and awareness programmes to strengthen HSE knowledge and engagement across teams
    *
Provide regular reports on health, safety, and environmental KPIs, ensuring alignment with group standards
    Your Profile:
    *
Proven experience in a Health, Safety, and Environmental management role within manufacturing or FMCG
    *
Strong understanding of HSE legislation, compliance standards, and audit requirements
    *
NEBOSH or equivalent HSE qualification (IOSH Managing Safely or higher preferred)
    *
Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to engage effectively across all levels
    *
Strong organisational and analytical abilities with attention to detail
    *
Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset
    Why You’ll Love Working Here
    *
Competitive salary and long-term career development opportunities
    *
Be part of a well-established food manufacturing group with a strong reputation for quality and innovation
    *
Lead site-wide HSE initiatives and influence company-wide sustainability goals
    *
Work in a culture that prioritises safety, teamwork, and employee wellbeing
    *
Join a forward-thinking business committed to continuous improvement and responsible manufacturing
