A growing aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Skilled Fine Limit Sheet Metal Worker to join its fabrication and assembly team.
The company produces high-precision aerospace components and assemblies, working to tight dimensional and cosmetic standards. This role would suit an experienced aerospace sheet metal worker who is confident working independently on complex parts.
Key responsibilities
* Manufacture and assemble fine limit sheet metal components
* Work from detailed engineering drawings and technical instructions
* Form, bend, shape, drill, rivet and fit aerospace materials
* Carry out bench fitting and assembly operations
* Ensure work meets strict quality and traceability requirements
* Support continuous improvement and production efficiency activities
Requirements
* Proven fine limit sheet metal experience within aerospace or precision engineering
* Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
* Experience working with aluminium, stainless steel and titanium
* High level of accuracy and manual dexterity
* Experience working to tight tolerances and cosmetic standards
