How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Luxury Tour Operator who create beautiful tailor-made holidays for both group and individuals are recruiting a Travel Reservations Executive. This specialist travel company pride themselves on their focus on authentic travel experience and sustainability. The Reservations Consultant will be responsible for booking the components of luxury customised worldwide tours and customer service travellers from post-sale through to final tour delivery. If you have experience working as a Travel Consultant in a Travel Agency or a Tour Operator and enjoy creating bespoke itineraries and offering great service, this is a fantastic opportunity, with no weekends (Monday to Friday, very rare in leisure travel!). Salary is very competitive/negotiable up to £32k pa dependent on experience. If you have travel experience and are local to Worcester, this is a very rare opportunity!

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Creation of high quality, bespoke itineraries after the initial sale through to the delivery and fulfilment of these enriching travel experiences
    Having a total commitment to customer service to ensure that our clients return having had an authentic and enriching travel experience.
    Booking hotels, villas, rental cars, trains, private jets, yachts, transfers, excursions, activities, and DMC ground services to create unique and imaginative itineraries.
    Develop strong relationships with key contacts.
    Keep up to date with product and industry information. You need to develop an intimate knowledge of the products and services the company offers.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    Minimum of two years' experience within the travel Industry, preferably within the luxury market.
    Experience of using a varied supplier base, including hotels, tour guides and drivers, DMCs, and experience providers would be helpful. Superb attention to detail is vital.
    Well-travelled with a good international understanding of different destinations
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Strong team work ethic
    Excellent keyboard skills
    Ability to work on own initiative
    Desirable criteria: Second European language skills

    THE PACKAGE:

Starting salary up to £32k pa dependent on experience, Mon-Fri office hours, free parking and employee discounts. Whilst this is an office-based role, there is flexibility to work from home partially at certain times of year.
