Trade Counter & Online Sales Specialist
What you’ll be doing
* Serve trade customers at our busy trade counter.
* Process online and telephone orders quickly and accurately.
* Pick, pack and dispatch orders from our distribution hub.
* Manage stock levels, replenishment and warehouse organisation.
* Receive, check and book in supplier deliveries.
* Support customers with product advice and order queries.
* Work closely with the sales, warehouse and purchasing teams.
* Maintain a clean, organised and efficient working environment.
* Help ensure same-day dispatch targets are achieved.
* Use our business systems to process orders and manage stock.
* Assist with product listings and online sales support where required.
* Identify opportunities to improve warehouse and sales processes.
* Represent the SD Group brand with a professional, customer-first approach.
What we’re looking for
* Experience within plumbing, heating or merchant trade is preferred.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Organised with strong attention to detail.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment.
* Team player with a positive attitude.
* Confident using computers and learning new systems.
* Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
* Willing to take ownership and solve problems.
