Responsibilities
Servicing a rental fleet of specialist forklift trucks from the company’s depot in Redditch
Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
Servicing other material handling equipment as and when required
Completing pre-delivery inspections of specialist forklifts before going out for hire
Cooperating with the Service Manager and Workshop Manager to ensure service is carried out efficiently
Maintaining a safe and tidy workbench and overall workshopRequirements
The company have a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background but this is not essential. The company are open to considering candidates from other backgrounds including plant, powered access, commercial vehicles, automotive or similar sectors provided you have strong hydraulics, electrical and mechanical experience. Ultimately, the company are after an individual with the right attitude and work ethic. In terms of location, you must be based in a commutable distance of the depot in Redditch.
