Job Title: Repairs Supervisor (Reactive Maintenance)

Location: Finsbury Park, North London (Base / Local Patch)

Pay Rate: £27.00 per hour (CIS / Umbrella)

Package: Company Van + Fuel Card Included

Contract Type: Full-Time, Contract / Ongoing

Hours: Monday to Friday, Standard Day Shift (42.5 hours per week)

Are you an experienced, ticketed Repairs Supervisor or Maintenance Supervisor looking for an ongoing CIS contract based out of North London

We are urgently recruiting a qualified Repairs Supervisor based out of Finsbury Park to oversee day-to-day reactive maintenance and repairs across local social housing property portfolios.

Working with an established social housing contractor, you will lead a team of multi-trade operatives and sub-contractors, managing daily job schedules, pre- and post-inspections, quality control, and resident satisfaction across the North London patch.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Supervision: Lead and support multi-trade operatives and sub-contractors delivering reactive maintenance, emergency repairs, and estate works.

Quality & Cost Control: Conduct thorough pre-inspections and post-inspections, auditing trade work against Schedule of Rates (SOR) and contract standards.

Performance & WIP Management: Monitor job progress, manage Work in Progress (WIP) lists, and ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) and priority turnaround times are met.

Health & Safety Compliance: Deliver site inductions, RAMS checks, and Toolbox Talks, enforcing strict H&S regulations on live residential sites.

Resident & Client Liaison: De-escalate tenant complaints, handle access issues, and maintain strong working relationships with housing officers and local authority representatives.

Requirements:

Experience: Proven background as a Repairs Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, or Housing Supervisor within social housing, council, or housing association environments.

Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of reactive repairs, multi-trade works, and Schedule of Rates (SOR / NHF).

Mobility: Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence (Clean preferred) to utilise the company van.

Certifications: Valid CSCS card and SSSTS / SMSTS preferred (or relevant trade qualification / equivalent supervisory experience).
