Veritas Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Kirkham who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join their team for the full academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a lasting impact within a supportive department, delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

Full-time English Teacher
Teaching KS3 and KS4 English Language and Literature
Full academic year placement
September 2026 start
Planning, preparation and marking responsibilities included
Paid in line with experience and pay scale

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting
Strong classroom management skills
Passionate about raising attainment and inspiring young people
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
