The role
Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and assess learning effectively in line with curriculum expectations
Inspire students to achieve their full academic potential
Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
Support the wider life of the school through enrichment opportunities
The ideal candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching English within a secondary setting
Possesses strong classroom management skills
Has a passion for English Language and Literature
Demonstrates high expectations of behaviour and achievement
Is committed to continuous professional development
