CBW is currently recruiting an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to work on a single man site. This role is based within a high-quality office building that has benefited from extensive refurbishment, offering contemporary office accommodation, premium end-of-journey facilities and an exceptional working environment for a range of professional occupiers. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer who enjoys taking full responsibility for a site, delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, contractor management, compliance, and building strong client relationships while maintaining the highest service standards.
What You'll Be Doing
Taking full responsibility for the day-to-day engineering operations of a prestigious commercial building.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site's mechanical and electrical services.
Acting as the main point of contact for the client, building occupiers and specialist contractors, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Managing and coordinating specialist subcontractors, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with statutory requirements.
Operating, monitoring and fault-finding on a variety of building services systems, including BMS, HVAC, electrical distribution, UPS, generators and life safety systems.
Issuing and controlling Permits to Work while ensuring safe systems of work are adhered to.
Completing routine plant inspections, identifying defects and ensuring remedial works are carried out promptly.
Maintaining statutory compliance records, including fire safety, water hygiene and planned inspections.
Supporting the Contract Manager with site reporting, compliance documentation and the overall smooth operation of the building.
Ensuring all Health & Safety legislation, company procedures and site standards are consistently maintained.Hours

What We're Looking For
Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Previous experience as a Lead Engineer, Site Supervisor or Maintenance Supervisor within a commercial Facilities Management environment.
Strong technical knowledge of commercial electrical and mechanical building services.
Experience managing specialist subcontractors and working within permit-to-work systems.
Knowledge of BMS, HVAC, LV electrical systems, UPS, generators and statutory compliance.
HV or Authorised Person experience would be advantageous, although further training can be provided.
Excellent communication and organisational skills with the confidence to liaise directly with clients and occupiers.
A proactive, hands-on engineer who enjoys taking ownership of a site and delivering a first-class FM service
