NEOS Engineering are partnered with a well-established and growing business within the construction plant sector who are looking to appoint a Plant Inspector to cover the Essex region.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer or inspector who enjoys working independently, visiting customer sites, and ensuring plant equipment is safe, compliant, and operating to the highest standards. Previous inspection experience is desirable, although experienced engineers looking to move into an inspection-focused role are encouraged to apply.
The Role
Carry out inspections on a wide range of construction plant and equipment.
Produce clear and accurate inspection reports.
Identify defects and recommend remedial actions where required.
Provide technical advice and build strong customer relationships.
Plan and manage your own workload across customer sites.
Ensure all inspections are completed in line with current health and safety standards.
The Candidate
Experience working on construction plant, heavy plant, agricultural, material handling or related equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to identify faults and defects.
Previous inspection experience is advantageous.
LOLER and/or LEEA qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
