Housing Officer

An established Housing Association is seeking an experienced Housing Officer to join their team on a temporary basis for an initial 3-month contract.This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with a strong background in tenancy management and delivering high-quality housing services within a social housing environment.Your new role

Managing a designated housing patch and acting as the primary contact for tenants
Delivering an effective tenancy management service, including tenancy sustainment and support
Managing anti-social behaviour cases and neighbour disputes
Conducting estate management inspections and property visits
Dealing with tenancy changes, abandonments, succession requests and mutual exchanges
Supporting rent arrears prevention and working closely with income teams where required
Ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining strong tenant relationships
Liaising with internal departments and external agencies to resolve housing-related issuesWhat you'll need to succeed

Previous experience working as a Housing Officer within a Housing Association or Local Authority
Strong knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy management practices
Experience managing anti-social behaviour and complex tenancy cases
Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
Desirable:
Experience using Homemaster housing management softwareWhat you'll get in return
