How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Assembly Operative
    Location: Devizes
    Job Type: Temporary
    Hours: 39 hours per week

    Initial Day Shift:

    Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
    Friday: 07:30 - 12:30Please note: Candidates must be able to commit to working the following double day shift pattern at a later date:

    Double Day Shift (weekly rotation):

    Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 14:30 / 14:30 - 23:00
    Friday: 06:00 - 11:00 / 11:00 - 16:00Immediate start available

    Due to increased workload, we are recruiting additional Assembly Operatives to join a well-established and globally recognised manufacturer of precision components used within the aerospace and industrial sectors.

    As an Assembly Operative, you will assemble small precision components to produce high-quality products. The role also involves manufacturing precision sub-components using bespoke machinery and specialised processes. This is a hands-on, detail-focused position requiring consistency, accuracy and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assemble small precision components to detailed specifications.
    Manufacture process using bespoke machinery
    Carry out repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
    Follow written work instructions and quality procedures.
    Ensure products meet strict quality standards.What we're looking for:

    Excellent attention to detail.
    Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
    Ability to carry out detailed, repetitive work with consistency.
    Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is advantageous, although full training will be provided.
    A positive attitude and willingness to learn.Please note: This role involves repetitive, precision assembly using small components. It is ideally suited to candidates who enjoy routine, hands-on work and take pride in producing high-quality products.
