Job Type: Permanent / Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm
Morgan Jones is currently recruiting for experienced MIG Welders to join a well-established manufacturing business experiencing continued growth within its fabrication department.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder looking for consistent Monday-to-Friday hours, long-term stability and the opportunity to work within an established engineering environment.
The client is looking for candidates with genuine professional MIG welding experience gained within a manufacturing or engineering setting. You should be confident working to a good standard and ideally be able to demonstrate relevant training, qualifications, certification or previous apprenticeship experience.
Please note: Due to the location, candidates will need access to their own transport. A paid trial will form part of the interview process.
The Role
* Carrying out MIG welding on manufactured components
* Completing bench welding and general fabrication work
* Reading and following production drawings and instructions
* Preparing and positioning materials ready for welding
* Ensuring work meets required quality standards
* Supporting wider fabrication and production activities where required
* Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
* Following all relevant health and safety procedures
About You
* At least 1 year's professional welding experience
* Previous MIG welding experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Relevant welding qualification, certification, apprenticeship or recognised training
* Confident working independently as well as part of a team
* Good attention to detail and pride in your work
* Reliable, hardworking and committed approach
Desirable Experience
* Apprenticeship-trained welder
* City & Guilds welding qualification
* Previous fabrication experience
