We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Telford. This role involves maintaining production equipment, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to maximise uptime.
Location: Telford
Salary: £48,200
Shift: Rotating 12 Hours
The Role
Respond to mechanical breakdowns and complete repairs.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
Fault-find and identify the root cause of equipment issues.
Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime.
Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
Assist with spare parts management and maintenance records.
Mentor apprentices or junior engineers where appropriate.
What We're Looking For
HNC or NVQ Level 4 in an engineering discipline.
Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
Electrical knowledge or qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
