A Junior Architectural Technician is now sought to join the growing team.
The Role
This is a great opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career in architectural technology to develop their skills within a supportive, experienced team working on real, varied projects. The successful candidate will get hands-on exposure across the full project lifecycle, from concept through to technical delivery, while being mentored by senior technicians and architects.
Responsibilities will include:
Producing technical drawings and detailed packages under the guidance of senior team members
Supporting the preparation of planning and building regulations submissions
Using CAD/BIM software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit) to develop drawings and models
Assisting with site surveys and site visits
Helping ensure designs meet current building regulations and construction standards
Collaborating with architects, engineers, and consultants across care home, residential, healthcare, and industrial projects
Learning and applying best practice while building toward greater responsibilityCandidate Requirements
A relevant qualification (or currently studying) in Architectural Technology, or a similar relevant discipline
Some working knowledge of CAD software (Revit experience is a plus, but not essential)
A genuine interest in building construction, detailing, and how buildings go together
Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
