What you will do as our Field Engineer:
Reporting to the Engineer Manager based in our head office in Liverpool, you’ll be the ‘face of MSite’, visiting our customers and installing and maintaining our products on site across the South of England. Some of the duties involve:
On-Site Installation, commissioning and testing of MSite products at customer sites
Support & Maintenance of existing Customer and Key Stakeholders
Setting up the system with the help of office staff (full training will be provided)
Providing basic training to customers on how the system works
Deliver a consistent high standard and achieve excellent customer satisfaction
Routine and Reactive maintenance
Fault finding, Diagnosis and Resolution of Faults
Operating independently most of the time, with occasional team-based jobs as required
Travelling across London and the South of the UK, with occasional overnight stays
Our ideal Field Engineer:
M4 Corridor based or surrounding counties (Wiltshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Bucks)
Previous experience of a field-based / service role
Ideally you will be from one of the following backgrounds: Access Control, Time & Attendance, Fire Alarms, Data Networks, Sky Installation, or similar electrical devices.
Knowledge of codes of practice and current industry standards
CSCS / SSSTS Accreditations or equivalent (CCNSG, ECS, IOSH etc.) desired
Must pass BPSS Security Screening
Able to work independently and travel daily
Full UK Manual Driving Licence is required
Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and effective time-management
