We are looking for an experienced Waterjet Setter & Operator to join our growing team, producing world-class components for some of the most demanding industries in the world, including Aerospace, Defence, Military, Motorsport and Formula One.

The Role
As a Micro-precision Waterjet Setter & Operator, you will be responsible for setting, programming, operating and optimising our state-of-the-art machine to produce high-precision components to exceptionally tight tolerances.
You will work with a variety of materials including:
* Titanium
* Aluminium
* Stainless steels
* Tool steels
* Carbon fibre composites
* Plastics
Working closely with our engineering and production teams, you will ensure quality, efficiency and precision remain at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities
* Setting and operating Micro Abrasive Waterjet systems
* Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and CAD data
* Producing components to extremely tight tolerances and high-quality standards
* Conducting first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
* Selecting suitable cutting parameters for different materials and thicknesses
* Troubleshooting machining and process issues
* Maintaining machine performance and supporting preventative maintenance activities
* Working to Aerospace, Defence and Motorsport quality requirements
* Driving continuous improvement in processes, productivity and quality
What We're Looking For:
Essential
* Previous experience operating precision CNC or waterjet cutting machinery
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing
* Experience working to tight tolerances in a precision manufacturing environment
* Excellent attention to detail
* Quality-focused approach with a commitment to delivering right-first-time results
* Ability to work independently and as part of a highly skilled engineering team
Desirable
* Aerospace, Defence, Motorsport or Formula One manufacturing experience
* CAD/CAM programming knowledge
* Inspection experience using precision measuring equipment
* Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience
