The Position - Higher Level Teaching Assistant
A welcoming primary school in Lewisham is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis, working Tuesday to Thursday from 8:30am to 3:30pm.The successful candidate will provide whole-class cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring pupils remain engaged in their learning. You will also support teachers with planning, deliver small-group interventions where required, and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.The ideal candidate will be adaptable, organised, and confident working with children of different ages and abilities. You will have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
