Education Matters is currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bethnal Green from September 2026.

The Role As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.
Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where every child can thrive.
Assess, monitor, and track pupils' progress, adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs.
Foster children's confidence, independence, and love of learning.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and classroom management. The Ideal Candidate To be considered, you will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching within a UK primary school, ideally in Key Stage 1 (ECT placements are welcomed).
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
A nurturing and enthusiastic approach to teaching young learners.
A commitment to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one. What We Offer
Competitive daily rates of £180–£250, depending on experience.
