Kingscroft has been asked to recruit for a Production Supervisor for a specialist manufacturing business based in Telford. As the ideal candidate you will have had previous experience as a Production Manager , Supervisor or Production Foreman and be confident in controlling and driving shop floor production. You will be experienced in leading the day to day production goals and have an eye on longer term shop floor improvements.
Main duties/Tasks
Responsible to drive Health Safety in all areas on the shop floor
Continuously drive and implement new 6S ideas and improvements to get to exceptional standards while maintaining an active standard.
Chair production and relevant meetings
Contribute to the development of the companys corporate strategy and lead strategy development in the production area
Direct and control the production function to ensure that finished goods of the required Quality standard are available to customers within agreed costs and at the right times. OTIF.
Develop the Team especially team leaders, train, support and give one to one advice where needed.
Maintain an effective working relationship with all other managers to ensure that there is effective co-ordination of all company activities in support of corporate objectives.
Support customer service with customer requirements
Hire, train, and evaluate workers
