We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a major energy infrastructure project based in Swansea. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Supervisor with experience in Gas, utilities, mechanical installation, and infrastructure projects to join a high-profile project.
About the Role
As an M&E Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing mechanical works on site, ensuring activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements. You will supervise site teams, coordinate mechanical activities, and ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical installation works and site activities.
- Manage and coordinate mechanical operatives and subcontractors.
- Ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to specification.
- Carry out site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
- Review and implement RAMS, permits, and safe systems of work.
- Monitor progress and provide updates to the project team.
- Liaise with engineers, management, and client representatives.
- Maintain accurate site documentation and reports.
Qualifications
- NG Competent Person – NSI 6 & 8 Full
- Lift Supervisor qualification
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor / M&E Supervisor / Mechanical Site Supervisor
- Experience working on gas transmission, utilities, energy, or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of mechanical installation and site safety requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills

Pay range and compensation package
