How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Support the delivery of impactful marketing campaigns, content and communications that build awareness, generate enquiries and help drive occupancy across a portfolio of care homes.

Join a forward-looking care organisation with a strong, long-term commitment to the success of every home. Supported by substantial, planned investment, we provide the resources and stability needed to deliver high-quality, sustainable care while nurturing thriving communities. This is a full-time, office-based role based at our Support Office in Darlington, working 40 hours per week and offering the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the organisation to support homes nationwide.

Working within a collaborative Commercial & Growth function, you will play a key role in creating engaging marketing activity that connects communities with care services, supports local reputation and helps homes grow.

This is an opportunity for a creative and commercially minded marketer to develop campaigns, content and communications that make a measurable difference, while working closely with operational teams and a wider commercial network.

    About the Role

The Marketing Executive supports the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, digital activity and communications that increase brand awareness, generate enquiries and support occupancy performance across the home portfolio.

Working closely with Home Managers, Area Directors, Commercial Assistants and the wider commercial team, you will create engaging content, support local marketing plans and ensure homes are represented effectively across digital channels, referral platforms and community networks.

The role combines creativity with commercial insight, using campaign performance data, enquiry trends and market information to continuously improve activity. You will also support events, local engagement, online reputation management and marketing initiatives that strengthen connections with residents, families and communities.

    About You

You will be a creative, organised and commercially aware marketer who enjoys bringing ideas to life while understanding the importance of measurable results. You will be confident creating content across a range of channels, managing multiple priorities and building strong relationships with colleagues across a geographically dispersed organisation.

You will have a proactive approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to balance creative thinking with accurate reporting and campaign delivery. Experience within care or another regulated sector is beneficial, but we welcome candidates with strong marketing fundamentals and transferable skills.

    What You’ll Bring

    Essential

Educated to degree level in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience.

GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications in English and Maths.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content across digital and print channels.

Experience delivering marketing campaigns and creating content for platforms such as social media, email marketing or websites.

Ability to interpret campaign and enquiry data, using insight to support decision-making and improve performance.

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders.

A proactive and collaborative approach, with excellent attention to detail.

    Desirable

CIM qualification or working towards a recognised marketing qualification.

Experience using email marketing platforms, social media management tools or campaign reporting systems.

Experience with digital marketing tools, SEO/SEM principles or analytics platforms.

Graphic design experience using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.

Experience working within care, healthcare, hospitality or another regulated, multi-site environment.

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the multi-site nature of the role.

    Additional Information

This role may require occasional travel to homes, events and other locations across the portfolio, with some flexibility around working hours to support focus days, events or campaign launches. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable due to the geographical nature of the role
