How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Make a difference by helping people find the right care.

Joining us means becoming part of a forward-looking care organisation with a strong, long-term commitment to the success of every home. Supported by substantial, planned investment, we provide the resources and stability needed to deliver high-quality, sustainable care while nurturing thriving communities. This is a field-based role with frequent travel across your assigned portfolio of care homes

Residents, families and colleagues are at the heart of everything we do. We believe in building trusted relationships, continuously improving the way we work, and creating environments where people feel supported to grow and succeed.

As a Care Sales Executive, you'll play a vital role in helping families make one of life's most important decisions. Working across a portfolio of care homes, you'll drive occupancy through proactive business development, strong local relationships and exceptional customer experience, ensuring every prospective resident receives the guidance and support they need throughout their journey.

    About the role

This is a field-based position focused on generating new enquiries and admissions across an assigned portfolio of care homes. You'll build relationships with healthcare professionals, community partners and local stakeholders to develop a strong referral network while supporting prospective residents and their families through the admissions process.

Working closely with the Care Sales Lead and home teams, you'll identify opportunities to grow occupancy, conduct consultations and home tours, coordinate follow-up activity and ensure every interaction reflects our values. You'll maintain accurate pipeline information within CRM systems, contribute to local marketing initiatives, share market insights and attend regular occupancy reviews to help shape regional sales performance.

Success in this role comes from building trust, understanding individual needs and confidently guiding families through what can often be an emotional and complex decision.

    About you

You'll be a confident relationship builder with experience in sales, customer acquisition or business development and a proven ability to achieve targets. Comfortable working independently, you'll enjoy being out in the community, developing professional networks and identifying opportunities to generate new business.

You'll have excellent communication and listening skills, allowing you to understand each family's circumstances and provide thoughtful, tailored advice. Organised and proactive, you'll manage multiple enquiries effectively while maintaining accurate records and delivering a consistently high standard of customer service.

We're looking for someone who is resilient, motivated by results and genuinely passionate about helping people. You'll be adaptable, professional and committed to representing our homes positively at every opportunity.

    What you'll bring

    Essential

Experience within sales, customer acquisition or business development, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Excellent communication, relationship-building and customer engagement skills.

Strong organisational skills with good IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Flexibility to travel regularly across your assigned region and occasionally work early mornings or evenings to support families and referral partners.

    Desirable

Experience within healthcare, social care or another customer-focused professional services environment.

Knowledge of care home admissions, health and social care pathways or care funding (NHS, local authority or private).

Formal sales training or relevant professional qualifications.

    Additional information

A discretionary bonus is available based on occupancy performance.

As with all colleagues, you'll be expected to comply with our policies relating to health and safety, infection prevention and control, safeguarding and all relevant regulatory requirements. From time to time, you may be asked to undertake other duties appropriate to the role, and the responsibilities outlined above may be reasonably reviewed and updated following consultation to reflect business needs
