We are seeking enthusiastic Community Safety Officers to join our dynamic team in Gateshead. This role is your chance to contribute to a safer and more vibrant community while enjoying a rewarding experience.
What You'll Do:
As a Community Safety Officer, you will play a vital role in:
Promoting Community Safety: Engage with residents to create a safer living environment.
Building Relationships: Work alongside local organisations and stakeholders to foster collaboration.
Conducting Inspections: Regularly assess community areas to identify safety concerns and recommend improvements.
Responding to Incidents: Act swiftly to address safety issues and provide support to residents.
Delivering Workshops: Organise and facilitate safety workshops to educate the community on best practises.What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you should have:
A genuine passion for community safety and well-being.
Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse groups.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
A team player mentality, with the ability to work independently when needed.
