How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    An excellent opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to play a key role within an FMCG production environment. Reporting into senior site leadership, this position is responsible for driving operational alignment, performance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing functions.

    Description

    As Manufacturing Manager, you will take responsibility for the production operation, ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective delivery of manufacturing targets. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will drive a high-performance culture focused on quality, safety, people development and operational excellence.

    You will play a key role in embedding continuous improvement initiatives across the site, while ensuring that customer expectations, compliance standards and budgetary objectives are consistently achieved.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Leading production, hygiene and operational teams to deliver business and site KPIs.
    Driving world-class manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
    Ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, food safety, hygiene and quality compliance.
    Managing labour utilisation, productivity, waste reduction and manufacturing costs.
    Developing and coaching operational leaders to build capability and succession within the team.
    Partnering with Engineering, Technical, HR, Logistics, Planning and Finance to deliver site objectives.
    Supporting capital investment projects, operational change programmes and business improvement activities.
    Monitoring budget performance and implementing corrective actions where required.Profile

    The successful candidate will be an experienced manufacturing leader with a proven track record within food production. You will be comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment, leading large teams and delivering results through a combination of strong people leadership and operational excellence.

    You will possess the credibility and drive to influence stakeholders across the business while maintaining a relentless focus on safety, quality and performance.

    Key requirements:

    Significant experience in a senior manufacturing leadership role within food manufacturing.
    Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, GMP and quality management systems.
    Demonstrated success in delivering productivity, efficiency and cost-reduction improvements.
    Experience managing large operational teams and developing leadership capability.
    Strong commercial awareness with budget and cost centre management experience.
    Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
    Degree, HND or equivalent qualification, ideally within a manufacturing, food or operational discipline (advantageous)
    Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and HACCP qualifications would be advantageous.Job Offer
