Academics is a trusted Education Agency seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support primary schools across Rotherham. This temporary role working across Monday to Friday (8:30AM - 3:30PM), offering a competitive daily rate of £100-£145 (inclusive of holiday pay), dependent on experience.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in Rotherham, you will:
Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons
Cover and lead primary lessons
Lead small group interventions and classroom activities
Assist with pupil progress and attainment
Provide cover across varied primary year groups
Uphold strong behaviour management and safeguarding standards
Requirements:
HLTA qualification (Level 4 CACHE) or relevant degree (BA Hons / MA in Education)
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
