We are looking for reliable CNC Machine Operators (ideally Turners) to join a growing manufacturing team. This could be on a permanent basis, or contract (with additional premium added).
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous turning and machining experience who enjoys working in a production environment, on diverse projects, and takes pride in producing quality work.
You do not need programming experience; we are looking for someone who can operate (and possibly set) CNC equipment safely and efficiently and is keen to learn.
Working within a modern manufacturing environment, you will help produce precision components used in advanced engineering applications.
What You'll Be Doing
* Set and operate Mazak CNC Turning machines safely and efficiently
* Machine composite (with training) and metallic materials to tight tolerances
* Carry out tool changes, offsets, and basic machine maintenance
* Carry out visual and basic dimensional checks on finished parts
* Reporting any quality or machine issues to supervisors
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
* Supporting production targets while maintaining quality standards
* Working as part of a team across a rotating shift pattern
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience operating CNC machines
* Understanding of machining processes such as turning, milling or general CNC manufacturing
* Ability to follow work instructions and engineering drawings
* Good attention to detail
* Reliable and safety conscious approach to work
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
* Ability to live and work in the UK without sponsorship
