Working within an established estate agency network, you will benefit from a consistent flow of warm, qualified mortgage appointments, allowing you to spend your time advising clients and writing business rather than searching for leads. The company has developed an excellent financial services culture across its branches, ensuring Mortgage Advisors are introduced to clients at the earliest opportunity and supported by experienced branch teams throughout the sales process.

This is a genuine hybrid role that combines the benefits of office collaboration with the flexibility of home working. Initially, you will spend approximately three to four days each week working alongside busy estate agency branches across Darlington and Middlesbrough, attending morning meetings, building strong relationships with branch managers and negotiators, and meeting clients face-to-face. The remainder of your week can be spent working remotely, conducting telephone and video appointments while managing your existing mortgage pipeline.

The successful Mortgage Advisor can expect to receive between five and eight qualified mortgage appointments every week, together with opportunities from existing clients, remortgage enquiries and protection referrals. With strong property sales across the branch network and an excellent reputation within the local market, advisers enjoy a continual flow of business throughout the year.

As a Hybrid Mortgage Advisor, you will provide whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice to a wide range of clients, helping first-time buyers, home movers, remortgage customers and property investors secure the most suitable mortgage and protection solutions. You'll manage each case from initial enquiry through to completion while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest FCA compliance standards.

One of the major attractions of this opportunity is the quality of support available. You'll benefit from dedicated mortgage administration, experienced compliance teams and supportive management, enabling you to focus on advising clients, maximising conversions and increasing your earnings rather than dealing with unnecessary administration.

For employed advisers, the package includes a basic salary of up to £30,000, including car allowance, together with an attractive uncapped commission structure, monthly performance bonuses, pension scheme, Death-in-Service benefit and ongoing training and development. Thanks to the consistent quality of leads and strong protection opportunities, advisers regularly achieve earnings in excess of £65,000, with uncapped commission providing significant additional earning potential.

For advisers looking for greater flexibility, a self-employed option is also available. This offers 70% commission on self-generated business and 45% commission on company-generated leads, together with full compliance support, dedicated mortgage administration and access to an established introducer network. It provides an excellent platform for experienced Mortgage Brokers looking to maximise their income while retaining the support of a highly successful business.

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants should hold CeMAP (or equivalent) together with Competent Adviser Status (CAS) and previous experience working as a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker. Experience within an estate agency environment would be advantageous but is not essential, and applications are welcomed from advisers with strong whole-of-market or broker backgrounds. Excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach and the ability to build long-term relationships are all essential.
