How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Excellent opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a rapidly growing manufacturer, offering long-term job security, ongoing investment and the chance to play a key role in maintaining a modern production facility.

    Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias? Do you have experience fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery?

    This well-established manufacturer has experienced significant growth in recent years and continues to invest heavily in its production facilities, equipment and engineering team. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the ongoing reliability and performance of their manufacturing operation.

    In this role, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance across a wide range of automated production equipment, helping maximise machine uptime and minimise downtime. Whilst there will be reactive maintenance and fault finding responsibilities, there is a strong emphasis on proactive maintenance, continuous improvement and equipment reliability. You will also be responsible for diagnosing electrical faults, including PLC fault finding, whilst working closely with production teams to maintain high manufacturing standards.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer looking to join a forward-thinking manufacturer that values its engineering function and offers genuine opportunities for long-term development.

    The Role:

    Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery
    Diagnosing electrical faults and carrying out reactive maintenance when required

    Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or another fast-paced manufacturing environment
    Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent)
